BAND PERFORMANCES.
The host of New Year attractions will include a series of local performances by the Balclutha Boys' Brass Band, which is making a tour of tho Dominion. Tho boys, whose ages range from 9 to 16 years, are said to be exceptionally talented. In addition to tho band's repertoire, which will include such varied works as pieces by Wagner, Rimmor a,nd Lithgow, there will be several solo items with band accompaniment.
