METHODIST SOCIAL WORK.: A fcrancb of social work, which, it is claimed, is unique in New Zealand, is being carried on by the Methodist Ccn» g tral Mission practically unknown to tlia 'people of Auckland. This is the free picture entertainment which is provided every Thursday evening for the children of the* very poor and the unemployedHeld in the mission hall, Airedale Street, the screenings draw attendances oi over 400 weekly, whole families coming from the surrounding district and from as far afield as Cirey Lynn and ParneH During the performaacei music is provided by the played by Mrf L.
