"CUTTING THE CORNER."
MOTOR COLLISION CASE. JUDGMENT FOR PLAINTIFF. Reserved judgment for plaintiff for £29 7s 4d, with costs, was given by Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday in the claim by William St. Leonard Gissing against Lester Sinclair for damage arising out of a collision. ■ Plaintiff's lorry and defendant's car collided in Park Road. Each claimed the collision was due to the negligent driving of the other, and there were a claim and counter-claim. " 1 am satisfied the accident occurred through the defendant negligently driving so as to cut the corner," said the magistrate.
