SCHOOL JUBILEE.
QUEEN CARNIVAL CONTEST. The competition in connection with the jubilee queee carnival of the Papakura School terminated yesterday. The results are as follows:—-Business queen, Miss D. Watson, 9570 yotes; sports queen, Miss Mildred Francis, 8044 votes; school queen, Miss Ivy Brown, 6167 votes. Nearly £3OO was raised by the competition The coronation of the successful mneena will take place on Friday, December 9. The carnival will conclude with a ieut|ion of old scholars the following day.
