The Daily News says a dinner will shortly be given to Leonie Van Hutte, of Roubaix, France, who has been decorated with the Legion of Honour j also to Gertrude Richardson, daughter of a Yorkshir# resident of Roubaix For half a century, Leonie "Van Hutte has notably assisted British Secret Service men in wartime. Twenty times sho crossed the frontier during the Great War, and her information aided the conviction of some escaping Germans who were sentenced to death in 1916. These sentences wore later commuted to 15 years' imprisonment. Miss Richardson was a nurse in a hospital, and she smuggled food and clothing to British iiotdiers who imprisoned w the clothmiils owned by her father.
