COLLISION AT OPOTIKI.
ONE CAR OVERTURNED. [-BV TELEGEiPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.J OBOTIKI, Wednesday. A collision took place this afternoon in Bridge Street between a car owned by Mr. H. G. Reeves, and a car owned by Mr. A. Read, of Whakatane. Miss Read was the driver of the latter car. Mr. Reeves' car turned completely over and was extensively damaged. The mudguard and hood of the other car were damaged. One passenger in Mr. Reeves' car, Dr. Murray, received lacerations, but Mr. and Mrs. Reeves escaped injury. Mr. Reeves was returning from a trip to Auckland.
