COMPETITIONS AT HAMILTON. [BY TELEGItAFH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. HAMILTON, Wednesday The annual athletic gathering of tho Hamilton Technical High School was held at Seddon Park to-day, and an exhibition of tlio pupils work was given in the school. There were large attendances at both functions. The senior boys' athletic championship was won by J. B. Stuart, with 30 points. Stuart won the 220 yds and 120 yds hurdles races, was second in the 440 yds, 100 yds, 880 yds, and tong iump events, md third in tho mile race. B Boswell was runner-up for tho chain pionship with 25 points. tic won tho hop, step and jump, long jump, 880 yds and one mile events, and was second in the steeplechase. In the junior division F. Hubbard ivon the championship, with 26£ points, boing first in, tho 100 yds, 220 yds, 440yda, 880 yds, mile ?ipd high . jump events. G. Hyde, with 21 points, gained second place. He was second in the 100yds,.220yds, 440 yds and half-mile events. The shield for the girls' form championship was won by Commercial I. A. The third-year commercial class was second. The display of work in the engineering, woodwork, poker work and cookery departments was particularly creditable.
