BATHERS AT MILFORD.
FACILITIES FOR DISROBING. COMPLAINT BY RESIDENT. Complaint of the use of unlicensed premises for dressing accommodation by bathers on Milford Beach was expressed in a letter received from Mr. H. S. Chandler by the Takapuna Borough Council last evening. The correspondent said that a dozen young women were recently disrobing in one tent. In answer to a question a councillor stated that in such cases no charge for admission was made. It was thus not a case of unfair competition. The inspector was instructed to thoroughly investigate the position. A further complaint of the numbers of dogs' 'running wild" on the beach and also damaging private property was referred to the inspector.
