SUCCESSFUL DANCE.

VICTORIA LEAGUE GIRLS. ] The Girls' Sub-committee of the Victria League held a very successful wind-ing-up dance for the year in St. Mary s Hall, Parnell, last evening. Long trails of pink and red paper roses, which were looped gracefully from pole to pole, formed the artistic decorations, and the stage, which was occupied by the orchestra, was decorated with bows of arum lilies and feathery greenery. Among those present were:—Miss Mowbray, president of the Victoria League, wearing a frock of black satin; Mrs. Rickerby, frock of kingfisher blue brocaded crepe faille, and gold lace; Mrs. L. Munro, china blue taffeta; Miss W. Tancred, frock of cyclamen and gold shot taffeta; Miss P. Hardley, mignonette green taffeta, and lace; Miss Edgecombe, aquamarine blue georgette, with skirt of multi-coloured taffeta; Miss E. Ballantine, Oriental lame frock; Miss Rathbonc, gold lace frock over geum red; Miss Maddox, salmon pink beaded georgette; Miss E. Hutchison, bois de rose beaded georgette. Miss Shepherd, buttercup yellow crepe de chine; Miss Webb, lemon-shaded romaine; Miss Clark, ivory embossed georgette; Miss K. Aicken, claret, coloured beaded georgette; Miss Moir, cherry satin; Miss P. Aickin, white georgette over cloth-of-silver; Miss.F. Barnes, ecru lace over Naples blue satin; Miss Cerutty, reseda green crepe faille; Misß M. Guy, pastel blue georgette and silver; Miss D. Tancred, cardinal red georgette, and grey ostrich feather trimming; Miss E. Langford, honey-coloured satin j Mis 3 Adkin, black georgette and silver. Miss D. Fenton, black taffeta frock; Miss L. De Renzi, frock of cloth-of-gold with bands of cornflower blue; Miss Armitage, Airforco blue georgette with silver trimming; Miss Griffiths, duchess blue satin, beaded in silver; Miss Pragnall, leaf green and silver frock; Miss M.
