MINERS' NEW DEMANDS.
WORKERS AT BROKEN HILL. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Nov. 29. The Industrial Union of Australia at Broken Hill has prepared a new log to be served on mining companies, in which it claims a 30-hours week for underground workers and a 35-hours week for surfacemen, on the basis of a five-days week, with a minimum wage of £7 a week.
