TREATY WITH YUGOSLAVIA. MUTUAL SUPPORT PLEDGED. LEAGUE PACT OBSERVED. By Telesraph—l resa Association—Copyright. (Received November 20, 5.5 p.m.) A. find N.Z.-Sun. PARIS, Nov. 28. The text of the new Franco-Yugoslavian treaty lias been published. Both conntries pledge concerted action in the event of an unprovoked attack on either, provided that such action is within the scope of the League of Nations' pact of non-aggression. The two countries also agree to examine jointly any question that is likely to endanger their external security, again subject to the final decision of the League. One clause recognises the right and obligations of the Powers involved in the League's pact of non-aggression. This disposes of the report that the treaty involves the mutual support of the parties to it, even against a decision by the League. Both countries agree to settle * tlieir disputes either diplomatically or by arbitration.
