ITEMS OF INTEREST. The Wellington and Dunedin stations will not be operating this evening. The Auckland station has prepared a fine programme to be broadcast this evening. There will be a relay of orchestral music at the Strand Picture Theatre, and in addition to vocal and instrumental items, the Orpheus vocal quartette will render several selections. The fact that it is St Andrew's Hay to-dav justifies the Christ church station in sending out a typically Scotch programme this evening. There will be bagpipes and warpmes selections, and Scotch songs.
