TOM HEENEY.
HIS SUCCESS IN AMERICA. [from our own correspondent.] LONDON, Oct.. 4. Tom Heeney's 77 seconds knock-out of Jim Maloriey is considered the most sensational boxing performance hero this year, writes a New York critic. Maloney made short work of Dciner, the Gorman champion, and Persson, the conqueror of Scott, and until three months ago he was regarded as the next best mar. to Tunney in America. Heeney outclassed him in every way. Heeney is immeasurably better than whon I last saw him in London. Ho has developed a terrific punch, and now has a great chance of being matched with Tunney. Until this win Heeney was only one of a fistic crowd, but he is now ranked with Dempsey and Sharkey, his valuation being £IOO,OOO.
