SUCCESSFUL PLAY.
LYCEUM CLUB PRODUCTION. Members of the Dramatic Circle of the Auckland Lyceum Club gave a most successful presentation of the three-act comedy, " The Lilies of the Field," by J. Hastings Turner, in the clubrooms last evening. There was a very good attendance of members and'the success of the play was shown by the acclamation with which it was received by the audience. The members of the cast acted splendidly, and showed a thorough understanding of their roles. Those who took part were:—Mrs. Scantlobury, Mrs. M. Hobday, Mrs. E. Werran, Miss M. Gaudin, Miss J. Bartley, Miss S. Wily, Miss L. Leatham, Mr. W. H. Graham, Mr. J. Gordon, Mr. E. Churchouss and Mr. S. Williams. Musical items were provided by Miss Florence Walker and her orchestra.
