SEPTEMBER TOTAL 23,991. (Received November 28, 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, Nov. 28. There were 29,991 unemployed in Australia in the September quarter, representing an unemployment rate of 6.7 per cent., according to figures published by the Commonwealth Statistician, Mr. C. 11. Wickens.
