RED TERROR IN CHINA.
HUNDREDS MASSACRED. MANY VICTIMS TORTURED. COMMUNIST SPIES ACTIVE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received November 28, 11.25 p.m.) Sun. HONGKONG, Nov. 28. Stories of Red terrorism in tho Hoifung district are confirmed by Bishop Valtorta, vicar apostolic, who says he has been informed by many refugees who have reached Hongkong, that in the small town of Cipseng over 600 people were massacred, apart from those killed in other places. A ghastly procession termed the " Red Triumph " carried the heads of the victims from Cipseng to Hoifung. Among the victims was a very old and distinguished Chines© scholar. Before being slaughtered he was subjected to torture, his nose being cut off and his ears pierced. Similar outrages were perpetrated iii numerous localities. Red spies are everywhere and are earning a dollar a day for their services, while the murderers of anti-Communists secure a reward of 10 dollars for each victim.
