FURNITURE BURNED.
FIRE IN WASH-HOUSE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Monday A tire occurred in the wash-house attached to.the residence of Mr. Thomas F. Omant, Silvertou Road, Waihi, at 9 p.m. cn Saturday, and destroyed furniture and effects to the value of £IOO, l'he furniture destroyed had been placed in the wash-house during alterations to the premises, Both the building and'furniture were covered by insurance.
