HERD-TESTING SUBSIDIES.
THE ALLOCATION BOARD. [by telegraph.—--press association.] WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Herd-testing Subsidy Allocation Board, at its first meeting, considered the testing systems as at present operating in New Zealand. It is hoped to get all on an efficient working basis. In the absence ot complete information from some testing organisations, it was decided to communicate with them. Necessary inspections are being arranged for through officers of the dairy division. The receipt of this fu.flier information and reports will enable the board to assess the value of the work of each organisation for subsidy purposes.
