DRIVER'S LEG BROKEN. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN- CORRESPONDENT.J WAIHI. Monday. When driving a carfc on Saturday, Mr. T. Tierney, an elderly man, who has a butchery business in Barry Road, had his right leg broken. The shafts of the cart fell to the road as a result of the harness breaking and Mr. Tierney, who clung to the reins, was pulled out of the vehicle and kicked by the horse. The injured man was taken to the Waihi Hospital.
