BIRTHS IN ENGLAND.
INDICATIONS OF INCREASE. (British. Official Wireless.) A. and N.Z. RUGBY. Nov. 18. The birth rate of England and Wales for the first three-quarters of the present year was 17.2 per 1000. The annual birth rate last year was 17.8 per 1000, and in 1918, which was the lowest ever recorded, it stood at 17.7 per 1000.
