The total number of men seeking emI ployment who registered at the Auckland Labour Bureau last week was practically tho same as that of the week before, being 565, compared with 566. Of this number, 487 were classed as fit for heavy work and 78 as suited for light employment only. A total of 120 applicants were placed in employment compared with 126 the week before.
