AUCKLAND TRANSPORT.
POSITION IN NEW LYNN. PETITION TO PARLIAMENT, [BY TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL REPORTER.] WELLINGTON. Friday. Further reference to Auckland's transport problem was made in the House today when a petition was presented by Mr. 11. G. R. Mason (Eden) on behalf of 179 residents of the New Lynn district asking for an alteration of the Motor Omnibus Traffic Act. They asserted that the Act gave tho City Council tho right to deprive them of a regular bus service and they asked that the New Lynn Town Board and tho Waitemata County Council 6hould bo allowed to run a bus service to and from the city.
