AUCKLAND STOCKIXOHANGE. THE WEEK'S TRANSACTIONS* More than average business was done ou the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, and sales took a wide range. The banking section was particularly animated. Commercials of Australia changed hands at 29s 2d and 29s Id, compared with 29s 3d earlier in the week. Nationals of New Zealand had the first sale since last month, the sale price of £6 16s 6d showing a decline of 2s 6d on the earlier transaction. New Zoalands firmed, business being done at 595, an advance of ninepence on. a sale earlier in the week. In loan and agency National Mortgages wore done at 72s 6d. The previous sale was at 66s 6d in May. Coal shares again claimed keen interest. Hikurangis, preference, were done at the current price of 6s 9d, and Waipas changed nands at 15s lOd, an advance of one penny on recent sales. In. miscellaneous Hayward's Pictures had sale at 17s 6d, against 16s 9d earlier in the week.
