A VESUVIAN BELT-BUCKLE.

"My grandma lias a Very old and in* ! teresting belt-buckle* made from pfetty coloured pieces of lava, fl-om Mt. VesuVitis. Each piece is a different colour, aiicl is very carefully carved in the shape ot a man's head and face, and mounted on a copper plate- All the little fates am set close together, on a frame, to form a buekle. It was given to her in England wlien sha was a little gill." —Lionel Collard, Henderson.

AN OLD SUGAR BASIN.

" I have & beautiful old f aahioned sugar basiti, which is seventy-six years' old. It was given to an aunt of irilae when she was two years' old. It. is oval in shape, thrtee inches in height, and a white ground closely figured l with a pretty blue pattern. It has a tiny hail cite at each side. MY DOLL FANNY. " My treasure is a wax - faced doll, natofed Fanny, which was given to in 6 by my greet grandmother, and Was the much-beloved doll of her daughter. Fanny is in good condition, considering her great age, which must be nearly fifty years. When elie was given to me, she was dressed in & baby's dress, worn by Some fal great grandmother's babies.
