THE WAIHI COMPANY.
[By TELEGRAM. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI, Friday.
The following information has been cabled to the London oflico of the Waihi Goldmining Company: No. 7 Level.—North branch of Martha lode, situated at 327 ft north-west of No. 2 shaft; this has been driven on to the west 47ft." The assay value is 20s 6d per ton The lode is about 3ft wide. No. 13 Level.--Empire Lode: Driving west, the next 12ft assays 23s 6d per ton. At. 50ft the lode is Bft wide, and the assay value 9s 3~d per ton. No. 3, Diamond. Drill.—The hole is now in 398 ft in hard andesite.
