SWIMMING.
WAiTEMATA CLUB'S CARNIVAL A large number of entries has been received for the Waitemata Swimming Club's first carnival of the season, to be held at "the Tepid Baths next Tuesday evening. A splendid programme of Ewimming aiicl diving events has been arranged, and several Auckland and Dominion champions will bo among the competitors. The principal events to be decided are:—22ovds. and 50yds. men's handicaps, and 60yds. ladies' handicap. A wator-polo match will be played between. the Parnell and Waitemata A teams.
