FRUIT CASES NOT STAMPED.
ORCHARDIST PROSECUTED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—H?RESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Friday Failure to stamp a registered number on cases containing fruit was charged against C. JI. Robinson, orchardist, of Appleby, in th«* Police Court to-day. The inspector said the offence did not seem to have been deliberate, and the prosecution was the first for several years. Defendant was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
