OPPOSITION OUT-VOTED
■A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Nov. 11 In the Legislative Assembly last evening Mr. J. T. Lang, Leader of the Op position, moved a vote of censure in the form of an amendment to the Address-in-Reply. This was to the effect that the Government for its failure to take further action against the Sydney Morning Herald and oihers in connection with their remarks about Mr. A. B. Piddington's basic wage declarations and ether judgments was not deserving of the (Confidence of the House. Tho motion was taken through all its Stages at the one sitting and defeated by <?3 votes to 40. The Address-in-Reply Was then carried' by the same majority, Jfhe voting was purely on party lines.
