USE OF EMPIRE FOODSTUFFS.
INAUGURATION IN LONDON.
A. and N.Z.-Sun. * LONDON. Nov. 10. A League of Empire Housewives has been formed to popularise Empire foodstuffs. Speaking at the inaugural meeting the High Commissioner for Australia, Sir Granville Ryrie, attributed the increased sales of Australian dried fruit partly to the action of their Majesties in informing the public that only Empire products will, bo used for their Christmas pudding. The members of the league will wear Empire shopping badges, and will use the slogan, 44 Every kitchen an Empire kitchen." .
