The Minister of Health, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, was asked in the House of Commons whether he had ascertained that the sale of condensed skimmed milk, similar to that imported into Britain from Holland, was forbidden in the latter country, and what regulations regarding the manufacture of this article were in force in Holland and in Denmark. Mr. Chamberlain replied that inquiries about the conditions referred to had recently been made by one of the medical officers and a milk inspector from his department, and a professor of the University of Reading. He was considering m what form he could best submit for the information of members the results of those investigations, including the scope of the regulations in force in the two countries named.
