CAR FALLS INTO STREAM.
TWENTY-FIVE FEET DROP.
OCCUPANTS NOT INJURED

A motor accident occurred on the Great South Road near Hangatiki yesterday. Mr. Ewen Joliu McGregor, of Hamilton, who owns a property in the vicinity of Hangatiki, was teaching an employee to drive his car. The car swerved when approaching a bridge and fell some 25ft. into the stream below, turning completely over as it did so. Mr. McGregor and his companion crawled out from under the car. They were thoroughly wet, but except for a few scratches they escaped injury.
