TOYS COMPETITION.
One of ou,r readers lias put forward the idea thai; we should have a home-made toy competition in connection with our Santa Glaus Sleigh. The idea should appeal to many of our readers, so wo have decided to announce a competition as ho suggests. All toys must bo nowly-mndc. No second-hand ones may bo sent.
Any kind of toy will bo eligible, dolls dolls' houses and furniture; stuffed ani mals, anything clever fingers can make!
All toys to be donated to the Santa Clans Sleigh, for distribution to tho sick and poor children of Auckland. Four cash prizes, five shillings, each, also consolation prizes. All entries lo bo addressed " Herald Home-made Toys Competition, St. John Ambulance, Rutland. Street, Auckland.
