SERVICE IN ENGLAND.
RECEPTION IN WELLINGTON. [iiy telegraph.—press association.] WELLINGTON, Friday. The Armistice Day service which was broadcast from England was heard tonight by a Wellington resident. The service started coming in faintly, but it improved as it went on with head phones. The first part of the service in Canterbury Cathedral heard was a prayer, followed by music and the hymn, "0 God Our Help in Ages Past." Then there was a Bible reading and a 10-minutes' address preceded the two minutes' silence. The "Last Post" was quite clear. After the "Last Post" there was another hymn and then came the Lord's Prayer, with responses The latter part of the service was sufficiently loud to put on a loud speaker.
