LOSSES IN NORTH OTAGO.

A very heavy mortality among lambs has been experienced in .North Otago this year The chairman of the Waitaki County Council stated at a meeting today that the loss to farmers would represent thousands of pounds. The deaths occur chiefly among strong, vigorous lambs, and post mortems have revealed that the kidneys of the stricken lambs have been diseased.
