AUCKLAND CLUB'S MEETING. The annual meeting of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Club was presided over by Dr. J. C. Finlay. There was a large attendance of members. The secretary's report indicated that the executive of the club had taken a keen interest in all club activities and had also catered for club members by holding bridge evenings and dances. The honorary treasurer reported a credit balance of approximately £4O. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Air. S. Coldicutt; president, Dr. J. C. Finlay; vice-presidents, Alessrs. R. M. Hacket, G. B. Osmond, P. J. Scantlebury, N. E. Burton, Alec Burt, W. J. Macklow; honorary secretary, Air. R. S. Burt; honorary treasurer, Air. R. W. Russell; ground superintendent. Air. R. MackJow; honorary auditor, Air. R, I. Gardiner. The secretary drew the attention of members to the fact that the clnb had again made arrangements to lease part of Stanley Street courts belonging to the association, in addition to the club's courts. These courts, which are probably equal to any in New Zealand, are in splendid condition, and the secretary tirged intending members to make early applications.
