BROADCASTING SERVICES. PROPOSAL AT CHRJSTCHURCH. [BY ' XHXEGK°4# r H. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHUKCH. Saturday.. That the Church of England should establish a radio broadcasting station in Christchurch for the dissemination of Church services, fas a proposal placed" before the Christchurch Diocesan Synod last evening. The synod referred the proposal to the standing committee, Tritis power to appoint an external committee. Bifhop West-Watson said wireless had come to stay, and by establishing a station the church would only be working in with the people. They should not adopt the attitude that was* taken up whfen steam engines were introduced.
