TE AROHA CARNIVAL.
SHOPPING WEEK EVENTS.

To encourage To Aroha residents to shop in their own town, the To Aroha Chamber of Commerce has organised a carnival beginning to-ixJbrrow and lasting tmtil Monday week. Prizes are offered for the best-dressed shop, window, the most popular young lady, the most popular man, the ugliest man, the first baby bom at Te Aroha in the coarse of the week and the bast essay by a school child on the text, " Why we should shop in Te Aroha." *ihOn Wednesday there will be a procession followed by a gymkhana, on Friday a baby-show, and on Monday week- a concert and picture entertainment. The Chamber of Commerce has issued an attractive souvenir booklet to mark the occasion.
