SPANISH ASSEMBLY.
NEW ADVISORY BODY. OPENING BY KING ALFONSO. (Reoeived October 11. 11.15 p.m.) Times. LONDON, Oct. 11. Tho Madrid correspondent of the Times says King Alfonso formally opened the new National Assembly to-day. Senor Yanguas, President of the Assembly, said its mission was largely advisory. The Executive would retain exceptional powers in the public interest. The speaker said King Alfonso's reign had been marked by a national revival in which His Majesty had been the foremost and most efficient workman.
