"BEEN HERE TOO OFTEN." "Is that woman here again ?" said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., when Cecilia Ah Lap. a European, pleaded guilty in the Police Court yesterday to charges of being drunk in Yelverton Terrace and breaking a prohibition order. Sergeant Calwell said it was her fourth breach since she had been prohibited. The Magistrate: She is about duo for the island. She will be fined £5, in de fault 14 days' imprisonment. Accused asked for time in which to pay the fine. "No," said the magistrate, "You have been here too often." A Dalmatian woman, Darinka Gizdavrich, was charged with being an idle and disorderly person. Sergeant Calwell said she had been wandering about the town for some time. She was weak both men tally and physically and had no visible means of support. She would not go tc the hospital and ho thought that if shf were remanded for a week for medical observation the Health Department might order her to be placed in the hospital. The magistrate granted the remaiid.
