WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. SHIELD MATCH DATES APPROVED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Monday. When the Wellington Cricltet Association met this evening the Plunket Shield dates submitted by Auckland and Canterbury Associations were agreed to. Both con testa will take place in Wellington. The match against Canterbury will commence on Saturday, December 31. and be continued on January 2, 3 and 4. The Auckland match will begin on January 29 and continue on the following days. It was decided that from November to March, the period of the operation of the Summer-Time Act, play should continue until 7.30 p.m. in all grades, with an afternoon tea adjournment from 4.30 to 4.45 p.m. GREEN LANE CLUB. Mr. G. H. Phillips presided over a fair Attendance at the annual meeting of the Greets Lane Cricket Club. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr. J. Hard ley; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. Daviea, T. Clarke, E. Anderson. A. Hedges; hou secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. S. Claudet-; committee, Messrs. A. W. Boeson, A. V Beason. S. Wrathall. T. Clarke. F. Clarke, G. Phillips, J Saunders; delegates to Suburban Association, Messrs. Chiudet. Wrathall, Saunders; delegate to junior management committee, Mr. H. Claudet: net captains, Messrs. A. W. Beeson, H. Cullum; sole selector, Mr. H. Claudet. It was decided to open the season on Saturday next at Bemuera. PIAKO ASSOCIATION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J TE AROHA. Monday. There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Piako Cricket Aesociation, nine clubs being represented. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £8 7s 6d The eleotkin ot officers resulted :—Patron, Mr. F. W. Walters; president, Mr. F. C Hansen; vice-presidents, one from each club; secretary and 4 reaaurer, Mr. T. Turner; as-sistant-secretary, Mr. N. King; general committee, two delegates from each club; executive committee, Messrs. W A Wright. N. King, G. R Moore, F. C. Hansen, and T. Turner; hon. auditor, Mr. A. T. James; representative selectors, Messrs. F. Montague and G. Sale. Challenges for the Bowler Shield were received from the Manawaru. Morrinsville, Waitoa and Matamata Clubs. The draw for rounds was left to the president and secretary.
