FIRE SOON SUPPRESSED.
OUTBREAK AT PAPAKURA. Prompt action by members of the Papakura Fire Brigade resulted in the suppression of an outbreak of fire yesterday morning in a house situated in Marne Road, Papakura. The occupier, Mrs. Hat lev, was temporarily absent, and on her return found the woodwork near the kitchen chimney on fire. The brigade was summoned and the flames were suppressed' before material damage had been done. The house and furniture were insured.
