SCRAPBOOKS FOR CHRISTMAS.
An excellent " new idea" has been sont in by Essie Thompson, Lome Street, Morrinsville. who suggests that we have a home-made scrapbook competition in connection with our Santa Claus Sleigh. The books are to be made by the children themselves, and will all be donated to tho Santa Claus Sleigh, to be distributed among tho sick and poor children of Auckland. Tho competition is open to all readers of Boys and Girls. The books will take some time to make, so this is just to tell you to collect all the pretty cards and paintings you can. Tho competition will close at the end of November, the date to be given later. Four prizes, fivo shillings each, also consolation prizes. No entries to be forwarded until closing date is announced.
