SUCCESSFUL DANCE.

CADETS OF WESTMORELAND. The cadets on the steamer Westmoreland held a successful dance in the Click Clack Cabaret last evening. The dance hall was effectively decorated in Eastern design, and the lights were shaded with gaily-coloured tasselled shades. Clusters of multi-coloured balloons were showered on the dancers during the evening. Among those present were:—Mrs. Vigers, wearing a frock of midnight blue embossed georgette; Miss H. Lewin, frock of almond green shot taffeta, with silver lace trimming; Miss Carlaw, peach satin with hem of cream lace; Miss Clive, frock of floral georgette in green and apricot tones; Miss J. Mitchell, plumcoloured crepe amour; Miss Dickie, floral ninon in cherry shades; Miss G. Mitchell, black chiffon velvet with large crimson bow; Miss D. Wilson, black satin sequinned frock; Miss . Upton, turquoise blue crepe de chine; Miss P. Upton, hyacinth taffeta; Miss E. Cox, shell-pink georgette with panels of cream lace; Miss M. Craig, cherry crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss E. Robb, Nile green crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss Koller, apple-green georgette; Miss Suter, buttercup panne velvet; Miss Spring, blue sequinned frock; Miss D. Edwards, cyclamen taffeta; Miss A. Newton, delphiniumblue georgette embossed with silver; Miss E. Middleditch, cyclamen shot taffeto; Miss Hale, mauve chiffon velvet; Miss R.
