<GUTH SUBURBAN AFFAIRS. [BY TELXGKAPH. OWN COX? RESPONDENT. ] PAPAKURA, Friday. The fourth annual meeting of the South Suburban Croquet Association was held at Papakura, the president, Mrs. C. C. Munro, presiding. The president reported that the progress made by the association since its inception was gratifying. A fine spirit bad been shown in the matches. The financial statement, presented by the secretary, Mrs. L. Forbes, showed a credit balance of £ll. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mrs. E. D. McLennan; president, Mrs. Munro; vice-presidents, Mesdames It. Fitness and G. Butcher; secretary ar?d treasurer, Mrs. Forbes. It was decided that plav in both the association's A and B grade* competitions siaould start on Tuesday, November It was decided to invite the Hamilton, Whitiora, and Franklin Clubs to send teams to play a series of matches on the i?ukekohe and Bucklaad greens.
