AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. THE WEEK'S TRANSACTIONS. Business was quiet on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. In banks Commercials of Australia .changed hands at 27s lid, a penny less than the rate recently current. Late offers for New South Wales were advanced by 2s 6d to £43 2s 6d without inducing business. There was no considerable movement in remaining bank shares and the insurance section. In coals Pukemiros were done at the current rate of 595. In shipping Hud-dart-Parkers had sale at *ss 3d, an advance of i/hreepence on last week's rate. In miscellaneous New Zealand Drugs changed hands at 635, compared with 63s 9d at the last transaction five weeks ago. In mining Ohinemuris were done at 7s fad at the second call, the closing rate on Thursday, and 7s 9d at the last call. The market closed at 7s lOd and 7s Bd, compared with 7s 9d and 7s 3d on the previous dav. Waihis changed hands at the current pnco of 22s 6d.
