LAUNCH PROSECUTIONS.

DISMISSAL OF CHARGES. Reserved decision was delivered in the Police Court yesterday in the case in which M. Paul was charged, that being the owner of the oil lauhch All Black he failed to see that it carried a duly certified master or engineer; and in which, also, W. Matthew, who was in charge of the launch, not exceeding six tons register, was charged with causing it to carry freight for hire without a certified master or engineer. The magistrate, Mr. McKean, held that sand, which the launch was carrying, was not freight and dismissed the charges.
