INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
EPIDEMIC IN EUROPE. GUARDING BOY KING OF RUMANIA (Received September 27, 7.30 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. BUCHAREST, Sept. 26. Extraordinary precautions are being taken to guard Michael, the boy King of Rumania, from an epidemic of infantile paralysis, which is sweeping over a wide area in Europe. The King is examined every day by the Court physicians, who are also paying special attention to his food and exercise. Additional medical men are employed on the Hungarian, Czecho Slovakian and Yugoslavian borders. They are strictly examining all children who cross from Rumania. The schools have been closed.
