BOXING CONTESTS.

MILITARY TOURNAMENT. SECOND EVENING'S RESULTS. ' Seventy contestants in their respective weights took part in the Auckland Military Sports Association's boxing tournament at the Drill Hall last evening. A good attendance of the public, as -well as cadets and territorials, watched the thirty-five bouts of the second evening's performance. Mr. T. Sampson was referee. An innovation appreciated by spectators and officials was the use of a loud speaker for announcing the bouts. Six territorial matches were decided. The feather-weight contest between Mason and Pearson was the most willing and interesting to watch. F. Fraei and A Rounds showed some clever work in the territorial light-weights. Following are the results CADETS DIVISION. Digit-heavy-weight.—H. Hogg (34th Coy. J, j 11.9. beat A. Kiddie (25th Coy.). 11.4. Welte/-weight.—l.. R. Dean (27th Coy.!,! 10,4, beat Jj. B.
