The relief train despatched by the Mexican Government to the flooded areas was not able to reach the sufferers in the Lerma Valley. Thousands of people are without food and homeless. Refugees are huddled on hills and housetops. It is asserted that the floods cover an area of 124 miles wide in some parts.
