SIERRA LEONE TAKES ACTION PRACTICE TO BE ABOLISHED. (Received September 21, 7.58 p.m.! LONDON, Sept. 20. A despatch to the Daily Mail from Sierra Leone ssys the Legislative Council, in consequence of a cabled request from the Colonial Office, will sit in special session on Thursday to abolish slavery throughout the Protectorate from January 1, 1925. The new ordinance will set free 500.000 slaves.
